Updating your PRO Hub to be compatible with the PRO Connect Application is a multi-step process.
The minimum versions required for your PRO Hub are:
Firmware v8.0
Bootloader v2.24
NOTE: All future updates to the PRO Hub, including bootloader updates, can be completed over the network from the PRO Connect application.
CAUTION: Do not proceed with this update if you have any PRO Mixers with a bootloader < v2.24 to prevent a temporary loss of operability. Proceed to the https://heartech.atlassian.net/wiki/x/AoDbeQ first.
STEP 1: UPDATE YOUR HUB’S BOOTLOADER
Start the PRO Connect Application on your PC or Mac Computer
Navigate to the PRO Hub Bootloader update utility within PRO Connect
Follow the on-screen instructions to update the Hub’s Bootloader
It is important to be deliberate and follow all on-screen instructions
Follow the on-screen clean-up steps after the update is complete
STEP 2: UPDATE YOUR HUB’S FIRMWARE VERSION

Power on your PRO Hub using the power switch on the front panel

Connect the same USB-B cable used in STEP 1 above from your computer to the PRO Hub’s main card

STEP 1: Turn off your Hub’s power switch and disconnect all USB cables from your Hub.

Check to ensure your Hub has been updated to PRO Connect compatible firmware. The Hub’s selector in the device list will not have a red information icon and the firmware version will be greater than v8.0.

STEP 3: UPDATE YOUR HUB’S CONFIGURATION
Navigate to the PRO Hub configuration page for your hub in PRO Connect
Open the File Tab at the top of the page and click the IMPORT button.
Add the file CONFIG.TXT file from the HB_PRO drive saved in STEP 2: 5. above.
Click the Apply Config button.
CONGRATULATIONS and wait 2 seconds.
